What you’ll be doing:
Selling our hands-on and online training programs, EV fire mitigation products to fire departments, law enforcement, training centers, government agencies, dealerships, towing companies, and railroads.
Hunting for new business while keeping our existing clients charged up and happy.
Hitting the road to meet customers, attend events, and showcase solutions that save lives.
Even stepping in to help deliver training sessions when needed.
You’re the right fit if you:
Have proven sales skills and a track record of closing deals (B2B, training, or automotive/fire/rail industry is a huge plus).
Can talk to anyone — from fire chiefs to fleet managers to railroad safety directors — and earn their trust.
Thrive on a mix of relationship building + new business hunting.
Don’t mind some travel (bonus points if you actually enjoy trade shows and road trips).
Are motivated, self-starting, and maybe just a little competitive.

Vehicle Response Training (VRT) is looking for a Trainer/Instructor to deliver our cutting-edge courses to first responders, railroads, towing companies, dealerships, and more. Join a team that is staying ahead of the future of Electric Vehicles and lithium batteries.
What you’ll do:
Teach all VRT premier EV training courses including EV fire mitigation, vehicle extrication and responder safety.
Train firefighters, law enforcement, railroad crews, towing operators, and other professionals.
Travel to client sites across the region (and sometimes beyond).
Lead both classroom sessions and real-world, hands-on training.
Represent VRT at demos, events, and trade shows.
Support the sales process by conducting product demonstrations, handling sales calls, and maintaining strong relationships with business clients.
What we’re looking for:
A background in fire service, automotive safety, or railroad operations.
Experience with electric vehicles (EVs) is a big plus.
Fire Instructor I or Fire Instructor II certification is highly valued.
Valid driver’s license (CDL a bonus).
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Comfortable traveling (and maybe even enjoy life on the road).
Experience as a trainer or instructor is a plus — but if you’ve been in the field and know your stuff, we’ll help you develop your teaching skills.
Ability to balance training delivery with sales support and client relationship management.
