The vehicles are modified for safe training purposes, providing real-world scenarios without the danger of working with active systems.

Battery Fire Suppression Techniques: These mobile unit offers hands-on training in effective methods for managing and suppressing battery fires, including using the correct mitigation strategies, techniques for approaching fires in lithium-ion battery packs, and identifying risks associated with thermal runaway.
3. EV Disabling and Rescue Strategies: Instructors guide first responders through critical strategies for disabling an electric vehicle’s power system. This includes locating and disabling the low-voltage disconnect, safely disabling power to the high-voltage battery pack, and reducing shock hazards.
