High Voltage Education

 Our specialized electric vehicle training equips firefighters with the critical skills to safely and effectively manage electric vehicle and battery-related incidents. This comprehensive first responder training program addresses key EV hazards—including thermal runaway, battery fires, and high-voltage components—through real-world scenarios and safety protocols. Designed for practical application, our training prepares emergency personnel to respond with confidence, reduce risk, and ensure safer outcomes on scene. 

Classroom Training - Electric Vehicle

Our electric vehicle training and first responder training programs combine classroom instruction with evidence-based research to deliver real-world, actionable knowledge. Topics include EV 101, primary and secondary hazards, fire and extrication challenges, scene management, environmental and HAZMAT concerns, EV transport, and chain of custody protocols. Training is available in-person or remotely, offering flexible solutions for firefighters, technicians, and emergency response professionals. 

Hands-on Training - Electric Vehicle

Our first responder EV training goes beyond the classroom with a fully immersive, on-site experience delivered through our mobile training unit. This hands-on program combines evidence-based instruction with real-world interaction using high-voltage EV components, EV Emergency Response Guides, a residential Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), and a Tesla. Participants also train on a specially outfitted EV for live demonstrations. The training includes EV fire blanket deployment, with discounted fire blankets available when bundled with the course. This mobile solution is ideal for fire departments, technicians, and emergency response teams seeking practical, up-to-date electric vehicle training.

Crashed EV Response: Learn proper techniques for assessing and managing incidents involving damaged electric vehicles through our expert-led first responder EV training.

EV Extrication: Master safe and effective extrication methods while minimizing risks from high-voltage systems—an essential part of our comprehensive electric vehicle training.

High-Voltage Lithium-Ion Battery Safety: Develop critical skills to identify, isolate, and neutralize hazards from lithium-ion batteries, including how to respond to battery fires and thermal runaway events.
